Ingredients
FOR THE OATS
- ½ Cup (40g) rolled oats
- ½ Cup (125ml) low fat milk
- 80ml water
- 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla flavoured is best)
- 10ml (2 tsp) maple syrup
- 1ml salt
TO SERVE
- 10ml Peanut butter
- 100g Berries
- 10g Chopped nuts
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk protein powder, rolled oats, and salt.
- Set aside.
- Bring liquid to a boil on the stove top.
- Reduce to low heat, stir in the dry ingredients, maple syrup, and salt.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until all the liquid is almost absorbed by oats and the texture of the oats softened.
- Remove from the heat.
- Cover and set aside for a few minutes until creamy and thick.
- Serve with peanut butter, berries and crushed nuts.
